• When lighting for the first time, burn the candle until wax melts across the entire surface up to the sides of vessel as this will prevent tunnelling, and create an even burn. This may take up to 2-3 hours (depending on the size of your candle), but it will make your candle last longer and diffuse the fragrance better.
• Remember to cut the wick before each lighting. The ideal wick height is 5mm. If a carbon cap forms at the end of the wick, don’t light it. Cut the cap off and remove it from the wax. 
• Don’t burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time for medium, large, and extra-large candles. Small sized candles should not be burned for more than 2 hours at a time. 
• Discontinue burning the candle when 0.5 cm of wax remain at the bottom of the container.
• Always keep a burning candle within sight. Don’t leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles when leaving a room or before going to sleep. Be sure the wick ember is no longer glowing. 
• Keep candles out of reach of children and pets. Never leave a child alone in a room with a burning candle. Keep matches and lighters out of children’s reach, in a locked cabinet.
